CLASSES OF SPOKEN ARABIC FOR TRAVELLERS TO EGYPT

Come and learn the basic words and the everyday phrases you can use
during your trip to Egypt!

Module A: Sunday and May 3rd, 17.30-19.30.
Module B: Sunday April 26th, May 3rd, 10th and 17th, 17.30-19.30.

The classes are held at the Sarabi school in a very nice environment. Tea and dry fruit will be served during the break.

How to participate: Come to school and write your name, surname and phone number on the special list created and then mark the option you want .  50% of the course fee has to be paid in the moment of subscription and the rest before the 1st class.

The teacher:
Mustafa MAHMOUD, (from Egypt but living in Barcelona) is considered to be the pioneer of Arabic language teaching in Spain. He is the founder, director and teacher of the first institute specialized in modern Arabic and Arabic dialects in Barcelona.
With his deep knowledge of his own country and the country he currently lives in, he will take us to discover Egypt and the Cairo´s hidden corners with their stories, sounds and flavours.

One of the dancers with the greatest trajectory in Arabic dances comes to Mexico for three days only to hold am intensive preparatory workshop for all those of you interested in learning more about bellydance!!
Content for this first course:

  1. The base and pillars of the Sarabi ® method
  2. Dancing technique
  3. Rhythm, steps and moves
  4. Belly dance teacher training

The Workshop is open for all levels: from beginners to teachers. The complete training will last for 3 intensive courses held in 2009 and 2010 during which Devorah will personally supervise your work. The following workshops will include elements such as can, double veil, candles, finger cymbals, as well as Egyptian folklore, Egyptian style, karsilama, Persian style and Khaligi.

FRIDAY, June 12th: 6.00-9.00 PM
Master class (3h) – 1100 pesos. Diploma issued by the Sarabi Academy and CID-UNESCO.

SATURDAY, June 13th: 11.00AM – 3.00 PM
First module: Sarabi Method Base (2h), 1000 pesos
Second module: Technique (2h), 1000 pesos

SUNDAY, June 14th: 11.00AM – 2.00 PM
Third and fourth module: Rhythm and Teacher Training (3h), 1000 pesos

Cost for module: 1000 pesos, Master Class: 1100 pesos
